Victoria Lynn Love

Victoria Lynn Love, 24, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 22, 2009.

 

She was born January 18, 1985, to Leonard Martin Love, Sr. and Julie B. Love. She was a member of South Rosemary Baptist Church. She will be loved, missed, and in our hearts forever. She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandfathers: Dallas “Bunky” Martin Love and Perry Lee Bridgers. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons: Dallas McCra Russell and Jerald Lee Russell; one brother: Leonard Martin Love, Jr. and his wife, Sheila Johnson Love, of Roanoke Rapids; one sister: Brenanessa Sue Love and friend Michael Lynn Turner of Littleton; maternal and paternal grandmothers: Brenda Ormond Love and Hazel Leona Bridgers of Roanoke Rapids; one great-grandmother: Jewell Hopkins, of Pensacola, Florida; aunt: Debbie Pittman and husband, Steve; uncles: Keith Love and wife, Effie; Tony Love, Mike Love, Billy Love and wife, Edith, of Roanoke Rapids, Tony Jackson of Eureka, Alan Jackson of Texas, Mike Jackson of Roanoke Rapids, and lots of nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 25, at 11:00 A.M. at South Rosemary Baptist Church with Reverend Jimmy King officiating. Burial will follow in the Love-Allen Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service, and other times at the home of Steve and Debbie Pittman, 2525 Three Bridge Road, Roanoke Rapids, N. C. Memorials may be made to Victoria Lynn Love Fund, c/o South Rosemary Baptist Church, 1837 Roanoke Avenue, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870. Online condolences may be sent to www.hockadayfs.com.
