Robert Daniel Blanton, Jr.

Robert Daniel Blanton, Jr., 68, of 1716 Macon Price Road died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at home.

Mr. Blanton was born April 17, 1943 in Halifax County to the late Robert Daniel Blanton, Sr. and Gladys Jordan Blanton. 

He is survived by his wife Shirley Martin Blanton of the home; step-son, Richard Johnson and wife Tina of Willow Springs, NC; three brothers, Donald Blanton of Garysburg, Ronald Blanton of Littleton and Michael Blanton and wife Betty of Garysburg; four grandchildren, Richard Johnson III, Danielle Johnson, Jacob Johnson and Hannah Faith Johnson all of Willow Springs, NC.

A Memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.
