Pansy Wilson Harper Hasty

ROANOKE  RAPIDS, N. C.

Pansy Wilson Harper Hasty, 89, of 823 Ransome Street, Roanoke Rapids, died Wednesday, December 14, 2001, at Magnolia Gardens in Warrenton. 

Mrs. Hasty worked in the textile industry for 44 years and was an avid lover of flowers and her chihuahua dogs.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Albert Harper and Clinton Hasty, her granddaughter, Linda Burris, her brothers, Robert and Emmett Wilson, and her sister, Susie Mae Walker.

She is survived by her children: Retha H. Robertson Pilgreen, Alvin Harper and wife,
Vickey, and Timmy Hasty and wife, Retha; her grandchildren: Deidra Robertson Blanton, Mark Harper and wife, Tiffany, Shondra Robertson, and Elizabeth Hasty; her great-grandchildren: Christina Burris, Tiffany Blanton, Courtney Harper and Casey Harper; one great-great-grandchild; one sister-in-law, Pauline Hasty, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 16, 2011, at Crestview Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. conducted by Rev. Sue Owens.

The family will receive friends at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service which is handling the arrangements prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M.

Memorial donations may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 2117, Roanoke Rapids, N. C. 27870.
