Dorothy Elizabeth Barnette Schulz, 68 of  Dear Trail Lane, Black Creek, NC, formerly of Weldon , died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Wilmed Nursing Care Center in Wilson.

It deeply saddens us that Joyce Ann Dixon Bohannon passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Vidant Hospital (Pitt County Memorial Hospital) Greenville, North Carolina. She was born on March 4, 1943, in Norfolk, Virginia, to the late George Dixon and Viola “Totsie” Bryant Dixon Butts.

John Henry “Gun-Gun” Shelton, 49, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Billy Wright “Sam” Jones, 74, of Highway 48, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.

Greensboro-

Wordest Ray Felts, of Greensboro and formerly of Roanoke Rapids, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2012, with his wife of 62 years by his side.  He was a loving husband, father; grandfather and great-grandfather.

Marie Elizabeth Lovell Hunt, 87, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on April 8, 2012 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Robert Lewis White, 93 of Sam Powell Dairy Road, passed away Wednesday April 5th at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

 

Patrocinia Guillemir Wood, 74, of Roanoke Rapids, went to be with her Lord on April 4, 2012, at Enfield Oaks Nursing Home.

Berry Arnold Price, 78, of Manassas, Virginia died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Prince William Hospital.

Norman Clark Williams, 86, died at his residence on Jefferson St., Monday, April 2, 2012.

 

Alton Phillip Brewer, 74, of  Roanoke Rapids, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

Edgar Jackson “EJ” Wall, Sr., 88, died Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Halifax Regional Medical Center.

 

Daniel Guy Newcomb, 33, of Lenoir Circle, Norfolk, VA, formerly of Roanoke Rapids, died Saturday, March 17, 2012, in Norfolk, Virginia.

 

 

 

Mary Louise Hux Dickens, 87, died Friday March 16th at Guardian Care Nursing Home where she was a resident.

Elizabeth Ann “Monk” Clary, 54, died Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Martha Jane Flora Smith, 90, died Saturday, March 10, 2012.

Llewella Decking Kelly, age 82 of 1361 Carolina Rest Home Road, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, passed away March 10 at her beloved Carolina Rest Home after four months of illness. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her family, friends, and staff. 

             

             

 

Jay Charles McKay, 51, died Friday, March 9, 2012 at Halifax Regional Medical Center. 

Jimmie Wayne Carter, 69, formerly of Roanoke Rapids, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Ocean Trail Nursing Home in Southport, NC.

Ruth King Pulliam died on March 5, 2012 at The Oaks at Mayview in Raleigh, NC.

Harry Lee Sykes, 77, of Gaston, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Roanoke Rapids.

May Belle Braswell Gurley, 93, of Henry Street in Roanoke Rapids died Monday, February 27, 2012, at her home.
