Jack Eldridge Bryant, Jr.

Jack Eldridge Bryant, Jr., 53, died Thursday, March 4th, 2010 at his home, 411 Oak Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC.

 

 

Mr. Bryant was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on September 6, 1956 to the late Jack E. Bryant, Sr. and Jean Elizabeth Harris.  He served his country in the Navy.  Jack was giving and kindhearted, a caring friend and loving father.  He was a strong man to all who knew him.  In addition to his parents Jack is predeceased by his daughter, Melissa Bryant.  He is survived by two sons, Jack E. Bryant III and his wife, Denise, and Alex Bryant; a daughter, Jennifer R Massey; a sister, Rhonda Stanley; a brother, Danny Bryant; a stepfather, Bernard Harris, and two two grandchildren, Baylee and Will.  Also surviving are five nephews, Dustin O'Neal, Nathan O'Neal, Mikey Stanley, Danny O'Neal, and Danny Bryant, Jr.; two nieces, Lisa O'Neal and Rhianna Bryant; and two aunts, Martha Adams and Tish Bowman.  The family will receive friends, Tuesday, March 9th, 2010, from 7:00-8:30 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service, who is handling the arrangements, and at other times at the home of his daughter, Jennifer Massey, at 1509 E. 3rd Avenue, Roanoke Rapids, NC.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.  Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made to www.hockadayfs.com.
