Frank Floyd Letchworth, Jr.

Frank Floyd Letchworth, Jr. of 111 Merritt Road, Spartanburg, S. C., and a native of Roanoke Rapids, N. C., died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Spartanburg Hospice Home.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Letchworth was a former Marine and was a proud member of the International Association of Machinists.  He was born November 13, 1933, in Halifax County to the late Frank Floyd Letchworth, Sr. and Minnie Peyton Letchworth.  He was also preceded in death by a son, David Lee Letchworth, and his brothers, Wilford, Delano, Joseph, Wilbur and Lathan Letchworth.  He is survived by his wife, Shirley Letchworth of the home; his sons: Frank Floyd Letchworth, III, and Ronnie Gray Letchworth; his daughter: Brenda Faye Turner, all of Norfolk, VA; his sister: Flossie Letchworth Lloyd of Roanoke Rapids; his grandchildren: Carry Ann Long, Amanda Page Jones, Michael Letchworth, Adrian Nado and Bradley Letchworth; his great-grandchildren: Katie and Kelly Long, Robert Long, Jr., Hannah Long and Heather Nado.  Graveside services will be held at 3:30 P. M. Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville, N. C. conducted by Rev. Tony Smith.   The family will receive friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.  Online condolences may be made to www.hockadayfs.com.
