Christopher Lynn Johnston

Christopher Lynn Johnston, 49, of 10 Twin Cedars Road, died Friday, January 13, 2012

 

Chris was born June 24, 1962, to the late Freddie James Johnston and Barbara Killebrew Johnston Hedspeth , who survives. He was also predeceased by a brother, Tony.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Killebrew Hedspeth; his sons:, Anthony Johnston (Shirley), of Ripley, W. Virginia, Gus Johnston (Laura) Bunker Hill, W. Virginia, James Wayne Johnston (Elizabeth), and Jonathon Johnston of Roanoke Rapids; his daughters: Sheila J. Williams (Richard) of Bunker Hill, W. Virginia, Annie J. Williams (Joshua), of Halifax, Tina Johnston (Josh) of Roanoke Rapids, and Joanna Johnston (Troy) of Gaston; his brother James Johnston (Kim) of Roanoke Rapids; two sisters: Joanne Johnston Cox (Bobby) and Amanda Dawn Johnston Capel (Rob) of Roanoke Rapids; and 18 grandchilden.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 20, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service which is handling the arrangements with Rev. Dennis Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 19, at the funeral home from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M.

My heart teally goes out to Chris.s family..Dean he deffinentlly had you heart So had tp loose a child but when it is under these circustancrs..it is much more painfdestirbing ...My Prayers go out to you all IN MY THOUGHT SHARON
